Ours has the Avidyne R9-upgrade. Relatively rare, especially in Europe.
Departing Southampton
Arriving in Lyon a couple of hours later
The South Downs (Sussex, UK) with a bit of snow
Flying home to visit my parents for the weekend. Tricky weather across Germany today… :smile
My ride for this weekend, sitting here at Mainz (EDFZ), a very tidy little Cherokee 140:
Cruising along across the most part of Germany…
Short final at my home base, after 2 hours and 7 minutes of tranquil flying…
Parked up at Luebeck, with “Tante Ju” in the background:
Looking forward to some Cirrus flying tomorrow…
This afternoon: Usedom, Swinemünde, and the Stettiner Haff, taken from FL100:
The flightplan on the MFD points to Torun (EPTO), where I am right now.
By the river Vistula, in the centre of Torun. It’s literally been the first day of this spring here.
Another little flying trip to Italy, started today, in the Piper Arrow..
The Alps, near Innsbruck.
The wonderful little town of Asiago.
A nice Beech T-34 Mentor (very rare in Europe!) from Austria dropped in for lunch…
Then another stop at what is of the most idyllic airfields of Northern Italy, Nervesa delle Battaglia (province of Treviso). There is a a collection of historic aircraft there.
Our stop for the night is Caorle, on the Adriatic Sea. The first swim in the Med for this year for me!
Coast of SE Greenland at FL430 with melting sea ice in the foreground.
Over Heathrow.
Great pics in last two posts! Gosh the snow over the Alps has disappeared quickly… Only a few weeks ago there were reportedly 2 metres in the Dolomites at 7000ft.
