The welder who repaired my pipe years ago was an old guy who welds inconel routinely, so while maybe it is 10x more expensive to weld than stainless, it is still nothing on the astronomical scale of say a €2500 Socata exhaust pipe (which I got made from new in the US for $500)
Printing (and sintering, presumably) metals is amazing! Here.

I wonder where you´d get inconel tubing ?? Welding this is no rocket science having TIG equipment. So I´d rather have a stainless system at modest price and replace it in maybe 5 years intervals. Same with inconel fasteners , some here are fixated on them but really better swap stainless bolts each winter at near to no costs , no real problem then.
