Customs and Immigration in Europe (and C+I where it is not published - how?)

Budapest (LHTL) to Zagreb (LDZA) – immigration

Can anyone recommend where to clear immigration when crossing Schengen border from Budapest (LHTL)? Balaton (LHSM) seems to be the best option?

Why not to invite police to LHTL and then fly directly to LDZA?

LDZA LDVA, Croatia

It is 72 hours PPR according to the airport website and I want to fly tomorrow.

I would do a stop in LHSM. Their landing fees and charges seem reasonable.

Belgium

I concur with Ploucando LHSM has it all. I use the airfield quite a lot.

Are customs prices calculated separately?

I got quote from LHPP today that charge for customs is 110eur

LHSM worked great. I was the only aircraft, everything was quick and landing was 12 eur…

I believe they should be able to arrange it with a shorter notice, but at a higher price. At least this is the situation at LHNY.

Only if you “invite” customs/police to an airport where they are normally not operating. Since in Hungary only LHBP, LHDC and LHSM have permanent customs and immigration during opening hours, at all other airports you have to pay for them to come and check you. The 110 EUR qoute is approximately what you could expect anywhere (price depends on whether you need immigration and/or customs and the lead time for the request).
