If you’re still there, there was an abandoned threshing mill on the.east coast between the village Scarinish and the airport turn-off. Also a hand turnip chopper mounted on an anti-aircraft gun fixing at the farm.on the left going to the village.
You’ll have seen the WW2 fighter controll.bunker.

From a day trip to Alderney EGJA
Tried to go south yesterday (CI, France, Germany) but due to weather / PPR / Immigration faff ended up in Stornaway, via Glenforsa, overflight of Barra, and Oban, like you do. Think we met @Dublinpilot at Oban mid afternoon. West coast of Scotland as spectacular as ever:
