Last flight of the year today, and yet another new toy for me, a (rather rare) C182 „R“
model. It has a massive useful load of 570 kgs. And nice interior and avionics….
Took it up for a short flight from Mainz to Michelstadt and back.

One of EuroGA’s well known globetrotters honoured me with a flash visit. And we jointly did a leg to Castellon LECN.
Lovely day for some formation flying. And of course he got bored flying too far away.. I won’t tell you about the aerobatic part..
We noted that the RV6/180HP Conti and the BR23/100HP Rotax have the same fuel flow at 100 KIAS: 5 gal/hr.
