We took the opportunity of this brilliant weather to visit Chartres, it’s a nice place to take the family for New Year, plenty of open shops, scenic walks and stunning cathedral
I was impressed by GA infrastructure in LFOR, it’s just mind blowing how much the city invested there !

How did you get from the airport to the centre?
Aha, a bit of hassle as the walk was too much (two babies), we ordered taxi at airport and Uber on the way back, the glitch I had to leave baby car seats at the train station (6€/day), I think it would have been much easier if we stayed for one night, one day trip is too much 
Now we don’t need to go
You may have to change your mind: we left plenty of nice stuff to see within walking distance near the airport for next time: swimming pool, zoo, park and this nice artistique inspiration from Antoni Gudi work
