Flying out of Stuttgart EDDS

You just have to pay for whatever they do for you without you asking for it, and that in term depends on the safety concept of the airport. And in the case of EDDS, that concept is that non-based GA is “handled”, in the broad sense, by Kurz Aviation, who are operating the GAT there.

Does having “CIME/NAA card” (or whatever LBA or NfL would call those badges) allow non-based pilots to walk themselves from ACFT to GAT?

Based-pilots will have their acess badges and can walk to their aircraft without escort, can visitors get escorted by based-pilots on domestic flights?

Doesn’t matter. Germany does not have that concept of “handling” vs. “no handling”. You just have to pay for whatever they do for you without you asking for it, and that in turn depends on the safety concept of the airport. It’s is not usually something that a handling agent does for you, it’s more of a “pilot thing”.

Only one report on our airport database but from a based pilot, so no cost information.

I went there a few years ago but don’t have the paperwork. It wasn’t cheap, for sure. Then another invoice for something, a few months later.

Calculating the fees from a document almost never works. In reality, expect more like 150€ for that. Plus approx. 15€ DFS fee. See Skydemon reports.

Looking to visit EDDS/STR in April for 2 nights.
EDDS has a GAT like EDDN? Just turn up, handling not required. I can get slot from AISC?

Did a quick calculation of relevant fee’s, not including the charge of DFS that comes many moons later.

LANDING/TAKE-OFF 12.94 €
NOISE CAT 1 – 51,75 €
NOX FEE TBC (€3.12 per kg)
1x PAX ex-EU 6,13 €
1x PAX Security 1.44 €
0,38 € per 1000k mtom (1150kg) 0.437 €
(Estimate 48hrs – 20.976 €)
