BBC: Andre Turcat, pilot who flew first Concorde, dies aged 94
One of the few, who did everything right. His book “Concorde : Essais et batailles” is one of my favorite aviation books. He must have had a wonderful life, at least flying wise.
Is that available in English? Anybody know the title? My French is too poor ..

I don’t think so. Even the French version is long out of print. I found mine in the museum shop at Le Bourget. Luckily I had French lessons from my first day at school to my last day (all 12 years)…
There is this one available at Amazon.com. Seems like a second / revised edition of some sort (the original one referenced by what_next is marked ‘unavailable’)
