Why do my 430Ws say that the future databases are expired?

After a flight today (i always do it after flights after I was once grounded by an upload error) I changed the two database cards in my two GNS430s and got this message (orange text) that:

“Aviation database expired July 22, 2017”.

The databases seem to work though. When I put in the other set of cards it said, correctly, in white: “Aviation database expires June 22, 2017”

First I though it was maybe because the system had no GPS connection, so I opened the hangar door, had a fine reception of six satellites, Same.

Should I fly with the old or the new database on a longer flight June 27? ;-)

I THINK that I got the solution on COPA: Although the wording is terrible (“expired”) the database will not be active until the OLD one expires on June 22 … It looks like the message will go away that day.
I always thought that when a new db is available for download it can replace the old cycle right away!

I wonder what happens when you are halfway down the LPV glideslope at midnight?

The database DOES work, i checked it, but it’s probably “legal reasons” why this message appears before the date …
