Cost of changing the tyre at maintenance ….. not a lot

Cost of changing a flat tyre in some obscure place with no maintenance facilty and cant speak the language ….. dont even think about it

My mechanic told me as soon as you don’t see thread, it is airworthy. But very uncomfortable when you land, and if running short of wet runway, you can easily break a wheel…
