My best glide is 85KIAS… x 1.316 = 112. Coincidentally my Va is 116.
What I usually do is use a fixed setting of 19.0/2050 resulting in +/- 114. This again returns a KTAS of 130 at 4’000’, 43% power, and a fuel burn of slightly less than 21l/h. Again, dual electronic ignition and using the lever with the red knob being paramount 
Not the answer for everybody, but it satisfies my appetite for efficiency, provides quite good economy, and the low RPM setting has Pink Floyd easily cover the engine noise 
N111XA still resides in its hangar at LKHK, Hradec Kralove. You are right that it is not flown much, last flight was somewhere in August 2022 when the owner flew demo flight for one of the potential buyers. Yes N111XA is for sale as the owner seems to have different interests than flying right now.
