They generally just bring you in and out via Norvenich.
There is going to be a warm front with lots of rain during the day on Saturday. A cold front is following and expected to occlude the warm front by Saturday mid day. Sunday is supposed to be nice. I doubt I will make the trip with my current VFR airplane.
I just got an other lesson scheduled on Saturday, so I won't be able to come to Hangelar. Are you going to meet in Bremerhaven EDWB on sunday?

I don't expect to be back in Bremerhaven until late Sunday night, I'm hoping to stop in Buckeburg, and see the helicopter museum there on my way home.
That said, if someone would like to come to Bremerhaven, and see around the AWI turbine DC-3, I will be around there all of next week. Prior arranging is better. We'll be flying later in the week, so I'm in and out.
I'm going down to Hangelar in an hour or so, and I will post here a little more contact information, once I figure it out...

Just had a look at the latest forecasts. While I could make it to Hangelar tomorrow morning with a cloud break at EDDK and then VFR to the field it does not look promising that I will be able to return to my non-IFR homefield in the afternoon as there is a fair chance of the clouds being too low or even on the ground at that time.
I am very sorry but I will have to cancel. Have a good time at Hangelar and I will keep my fingers crossed for next time ...
