I’m looking for a place where I can rent a C172/PA28 (or similar SEP) for the occassional weekend flight in the Bremen area. My last club was in England so I’m not too sure about the scene in Germany. I’m sure the German members of EuroGA could help me with some recommendations. Reasonable rates, aircraft in good condition, good infrastructure (bar/pub/restaurant is a plus), good atmosphere, active members etc. all those are valued.
Looking at SkyDemon I see some potential airfields: Ganderkesee, Karlshöfen, Rotenburg, maybe Bremen EDDW itself?
As for myself, I am a CPL/IR (frozen ATPL) with just over 300h.
The most convenient airfield in the Bremen area is probably Ganderkesee EDWQ.
I have landed there a few times, but have no personal experience with their rental offers (often called “Charter” in German).
