Naaice! Keep them coming!

On the technique, since I fly high wing, no banking usually results in an easy framing without wings if so desired, unless shooting skywards Dan wrote:

like the last picture above!

Pic of the day… long wait for the fog to kinda dissipate for the pizza run… on the return flight, sighted a virgin… also called Jungfrau around here

I recognise Dan’s pics. Flew past Ventimiglia at about 500ft here and did Monch and Jungfrau (Monk and Virgin – sounds like there is a story to be told there?) and Mont Blanc separately nonstop from EGKA here, plus on many other occassions from FL160+ and wondering which mountain it was.

Pics of the day… FL115 from base to LOAN (Wr. Neustadt/Ost), birthplace of the flying Diamonds. Mission was to pick-up and bring back to base the ferry pilot who brought one of the well used flight school DA20 Katanas for its… 12K inspection.
Nice tail wind flying East, and passing the Schneeberg 6811‘ in the descent…

The airport of LOAN. Plenty of plastic, either flying or on the ground
The runway is 27/09, so the 15-22kts, straight across with a line-up of hangars on the up side, with breaks in between, sure required some attention in a taildragger today

Back home, we’ll almost, the Säntis 8209’ and Alpstein Alps

Mission accomplished 👍🏻

Beautiful – that haze in the last pic.

Thanks @Peter.
In all modesty I guess that’s another one which I forgot to mention in my "tech guide ": capture the moment. Difficult in such a dynamic environment as flying in ever changing weather and lighting conditions…

Be there, see the moment, capture it.

It was a little windy and a little cloudy in the Rhein-Main area today, but no reason not to fly for me. I had no mission, no destination, so just flew around in the little Grumman for an hour. As often, autumn afternoons produce some good sights.

The usual pic when crossing the Rhine

The little Grumman was climbing well.

Limburg.

Decided to climb on top for a few minutes.

Still climbing very well through FL70.

Here we are.

Somewhere.

Hofgut Georgental, in the Hochtaunus.

River Rhine again.
