Cliffs of Dover.
thanks @boscomantico
Shorter than I recall, the island must be sinking…
Well, they are actuallly quite tall and spectacular. But here, I was too high for it to show (I had just crossed the Channel and you don‘t want to do that at 500 feet MSL…)
Here is a couple more taken years ago from much lower:
Nice ones boscomantico 👍🏻
Love the bottom one with this eerie feel to it
That is my local area, where the CAA is unlikely to bust me for busting airspace, with a 5500ft base
Beachy Head, near SFD:
From about 600ft:
Watching Dover Cliffs from very low sorry for the quality, it’s was from “head-held camera”
PS: UK has hight derogation from SERA 500ft, I decided to use every inch of that like in seaplanes
When you see the ferry, you give him some distance & height
RNP12 to Deauville with 100km visibility
Testing my new toy yesterday. An ICP Savannah S STOL/bush plane like few others. With vortex generators
Had to try that “banana” strip WW&W mentioned in a thread somewhere. When I came, I saw thawing water had made a ravine about half way on the “banana”. No problems whatsoever, since the Savannah stops in 50m or less The strip is a one way strip, uphill. At top end there is a house.
The fjord from NE:
That’s a nice plane, and a very clean hangar and tarmac
pic of the day… East of the highest
