The runway at Catalina was also formed by blasting two hilltops and using the rubble to fill the saddle between them. Maybe not on the same scale as the Chinese.

It was my favourite Sunday destination when I was based in L.A.

for those who want to try Sedona – there is no special checkout for renters, at least not at Westwind aviation at KDVT….it was my first destination in US after I passed flight review and 172 checkout…
