I’m Phil. I’ve had my licence for 12 months. I learned with Lydd Aero club – all credit to them for getting me through the training in quick order. But I now seem to be struggling to build some hours. Club aircraft are too restrictive so I joined a group based at Lydd – great bunch of guys – but having flown only 4 hours it looks like our TB9 might be ‘done for’ following a heavy landing. So my hope of spending a few hours in the skies this summer have been thwarted. Fingers crossed we can find a way for the five of us get airborne again soon. Point me at a decent 180hp, low wing aircraft for sale (not keen on the PA28 single door) and you might make me and four other flight deprived guys in the South East very happy.
