Any plane (fictional or not) where you have an completely unobstructed view forward and sideways, like if you are a bird. Just a stick and a throttle. Flew some of these that came very close, but the tons of insects that entered my laughing open mouth spoiled the fun a bit, in spite of making for a free lunch. So it needs to have an enclosed canopy. Suggestions?

You can try this one: https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9338304
A friend of mine has flown in it and claims the views are amazing, helicopter-esque.

What aircraft is that? Which movie is it from?
A fictional MiG from the Clint Eastwood movie Firefox.
@172driver I still would need somebody as Chewie ;-)
No contest, this of course
Of course it can only be the Starship Enterprise, or one of them.
All I ask is a tall ship, and a star by which to guide her .. .. ..
And then again just imagine piloting Cochrane’s Phoenix first warp speed passage,
And I would give a lot for a few hours on the helm of a clipper bringing tea around the cape in a F8, from astern of course .. .. ..
Fair winds to one and all.
I’d have to say this one, the “Whispercraft”. It looks like a helicopter, kind of, but it’s just a movie prop used in “The 6th Day”. In about 2003 I parked next to it at Santa Monica airport. Then 15 years later I was driving along a little-used country road in the mountains north of LA and… there it was, in somebody’s garden. I couldn’t believe it. It had spent much of the intervening time at Mojave airport.

Almost LeSving…
The Viper fighter of Battlestar Galactica looked really cool.
So did the “Eagles” of Space 1999, even in a very different way.
But none of them are airplanes really, they are spaceplanes. So i wonder if they count.
Military: EB52-Megafortress would be quite an interesting plane.
Civil: Mooney 301. Ok, not quite fictional as one exemplar exists, but close enough I hope. Of course it does exist in the form of the TBM700.
