May be I am missing something; but is there a simple way of always getting to the ‘last posting’ on a forum page?
Because one often want to ‘catch up’ on the latest entry on an item one has an interest in, one often goes back to the same forum page when returning to the site.
When I click: “the title” and/or “Read this thread” I always get to the first posting.
I then have to click annoyingly “last” to get where I want to go.
Any simple solution?
Click on “New”? That takes you to first unread post
While that’s correct, the irritation I find is that if I want to add to a thread that does not have a new posting, it’s quite a pain to get to the end of it.
Perhaps the timestamp under the latest post column could be a link to the actual latest post.

You also need to be logged in to get most of these features to work.

That is not really an answer to the question. I think that you can reasonably want both to read from top to bottom and to be able to get to the end with ease.
