Flew in to Charlton Park on Thursday.....my next home....in my dreams, lol.
Very nice
There is a number of these locations in France too but I don't know of any which have Customs so are a big hassle to get to, for a day trip.
Looks like season 4 of Downton Abbey
Very nice. I didnt know that existed, nor that it has a runway. I quite like finding those hard to spot unlicensed airfields. I see it is near Kemble airfield, and Oaksey park - both of which I have been to, so after seeing your picture, Charlton may well be my next flight :-)
Certainly gonna be on one of my future flights. Just got to get Ireland out the way this month - weather gods permitting. Shall we have a day fly-out trip there (not Ireland but this place)? A cuppa tea and a cucumber sarnie I say what. Could be fun? Meet a few fellow formites?
Shall we have a day fly-out trip there.
I would be up for that if I am free.
Jude, can you give us a PIREP? Runway length? Upslope? Thanks..
Would be a lovely place to meet up.....and bring a picnic.

Just visited Charlton Park as well. Great location. I am thinking about organising a fly-in there next Spring. Lord Suffolk is a pilot himself as well. Had an Aztec and now owns a PA28.
