It’s not summer yet (we visited last year in April and it was ok) and plenty of hotels to book this weekend
I tend to avoid in July/Aug, you can’t book a car or hotel

It was great to catch up with @HBadger at La Rochelle, even for a short period (I had a hectic morning), I saw an aircraft with impressive rate of climb from the car park, I know that was him when he departed
