No handling for the Cirrus
This is a curious contrast with the “official” AIP info – did you find a work-around? Arrangement with some local operator, perhaps?
@Lenthamen: apologies for not explicitly warning you about LONDI – it is really really mandatory indeed. It used to be a very handy reference, too, as it is almost co-located with a MW broadcast station to which you could tune your ADF; but that was deactivated a year or two ago. As a visual reference it remains excellent, though.
Jan: you might be right, but I just fly there and they never refuse me. Then I park at the GA platform next to the museum and walk over to pay my landing fee at the GA desk. Never seen a handler there.
Thanks for info, Sjoerd-Jan. The difference between what is written vs. actual practice is the added value of a forum.
