Does anyone know if the xmas markets etc are still up in the week after xmas?

It’s a really good idea, but as a VFR flyer I’ll be in Florida 
The website says all six Christmas markets run until 29-Dec, then just one, the culinary marché gourmand, until 5-Jan.
Pdf map with a recommended route between markets (red stars) and other attractions like museums and wine shops also participating in the event.
Colmar is around the corner for me, so I would probably join you. I don’t particularly like Christmas markets, though 
If I can I will happily join you. Colmar is my native town and where I learned to fly. I fly there several times a year.
An I confirm @Capitaine statement, the Xmas market is open till 29/12.
Usually EDQN is in fog during this part of the year, though… (and on top of that we are visiting my in-laws until Dec 27th…) let’s see. Will keep you posted.
Colmar has a beautiful city center , a very nice, air"port" and a friendly maintenance shop where they speak good english!
The Christmas Market is a strange commercial operation which I don’t enjoy.
If you want to pay ripoff prices for mass-produced greasy stuff while being sandwiched by fire-breathing humans and getting hot wine poured on your boots, ok…
I am just back after a single day of maintenance instead of a week – got literally priced out!
210€ for one night with breakfast in a boring hotel far from the city center and had to flee because the week-end was either sold out or ridiculously more expensive. Normal prices for that specific hotel are under 100€ FYI.
So if you want to meet there as a group I would suggest to avoid the Christmas Market period – a mere tourist trap that has nothing to do with tradition.
Looking at forecasts, I doubt it will happen in December.
Forecast not looking too bad next weekend Fri to sun. High pressure coming in. Sun may have a bit of rain but that wouldn’t put me off
If Colmar is off ill be trying somewhere else as kids and wife away and intend to make the most of it.
I agree the xmas markets sell junk. But the place is quite scenic during that time.
