Concerbing the insurance I understand that the you should be “covered” by the plane insurance. But this insurance if for damages caused by youor the plane to others.
I also understand that as PIC you are not covered for your own damages. Hence an additional insurance might be required.
Also in some threats when renting, they refer to a renter insurance… at this stage it is still unclear what this should cover…
Guess I still have some searches to do. I will ask other pilots at the club…
