Implementing SOPs

I agree.

I tell them the most hazardous bit of flying is taxiing, because everybody else would absolutely love getting a new wing paid for by my insurance

Life raft briefing is done twice.

I do emergency briefing (belts, seats, exits, fire extinguisher and first aid, and when overflying sea, life vests) and silent cockpit (if not respected, I just isolate them ).

AIDE-MEMOIR for the passenger brief.

FYI – this isn’t a verbatim 20 minute spill. It’s 2-3 minutes at best, describing everything of what’s been afromentioned in whatever format I wish, but covering the important aspects.

But if weather suggests, basically I would mention that as not everyone is versed with IMC or bumpy rides.

It’s just more about making things more relaxed when the situation(s) don’t go to plan and I can concentrate on the flying.
