Yeah, looks like a CSS issue. It didn’t get spotted because almost nobody uses < pre >.
If you can fiddle around with the CSS (I believe it can be done in a browser) and let me know what needs fixing, I can pay someone to do it.
Preformatted text is very hard to read, too dark font colour on dark background.
