The RPM sensor reading on my EDM went off line yesterday but cam back just before I landed. Not sure if it is a sign of bad sensor or a loose connection somewhere. Anyone had to replace an RPM sensor before? (It attached to the magneto)
Check wiring first, the sensor is a solid state sensor, which is unlikely to fail. The only weak point could be the exit of the wiring at the sensor (vibration)
