The early 28 volt versions are not serviceable, but the others still are, just can’t get displays for them any longer. The displays are reliable unless poorly treated with harsh chemicals causing crazing or delamination. A GNS430 still has value even if the display is bad as it can be used for spare parts. If the display is good, you can get it repaired.

I was cautious initially because I thought maybe I misunderstand the manual, but no, it’s just an old button…
Maybe after a visit by the hangar fairies your buttons will magically start to work again? :-)
