How do EASA-reg owners buy from Aircraft Spruce, or Sandelving DE ?

In light of the latest here how does this work?

AS don’t even supply an 8130-3 (which is acceptable here for a new part, if – according to one industry view – the form is issued by the manufacturer) unless you pay quite a lot extra.

For small parts and consumables this is OK but only because they are unmarked and thus the work is untraceable/unprovable.

The zero response is a good one

It is possible to get an 8130 from aircraft spruce but it costs extra. And yes, getting parts with correct paperwork is an issue which affects the GA community in Europe in a bad way.
In many cases I think that parts never breaks, they just live forever.

I do not buy parts with serial numbers from Spruce / Sandelving. But their pricing for such is usually not great anyway. They are a supplier of consumables. A few (non structural) screws, light bulbs, oil, drain bottle, cowling sealer, TKS fluid etc. Having said that I would like to point of Piper Kassel / globalaviation24.com Often their prices are the same or sometimes better than Sandelving, delivery is usually faster and they are very serious about providing proper paperwork.
