Sweden doesn’t even have a national registry. We are told to register directly with COSPAS/SARSAT.
I am pretty sure you can register anything directly with COSPAS/SARSAT and your own country doesn’t need to know anything about it.
That is how the system works. The alarms are processed centrally, and work internationally.
