I think it is more complicated.
I know the architecture of the supplemental datacard of the G1000 quite well, and think there is no image files on it.
I’ve seen custom splash screens all over, I don’t think it impacts airworthiness at all (it’s an image on the SD Card).
Like most good things, it probably does.
The OP puzzles me. Why mention it when no way to do it is mentioned? Is this a lead to some PM discussion offering some product?
