Interested in views on its use. I have read a lot about it, the Garmin material is useless. How do those who have it use it in practice. The best explanation I have read is an article by Archie Trammell from B&CA that was reposted on Pprune some time ago here.
I find that I am lazy in using it. I tend to leave it at a fixed tilt and long range where I really should be more tactical in its use in convective conditions.
I think a lot of people get a course from him (radar4pilots.com) that he specifically designs for your aircraft and equipment. I agree that the docs are quite poor; I find it particularly hard to set up when low level.
