@Sebastian_G, there are some guys that managed to get GDL90 data from a Stratus and send it to an IFD540, on a RS-232 @ 38,400bps serial connection. They only had some minor issues with traffic, some alert coming from the GDL90 heartbeat not getting from stratux to the IFD in a timely manner, but we are not interested in traffic here anyway.
If any of your products could do that, it would be great. I think there is a great potential here, with so many skipping the GNS430/530 WAAS upgrade and going the Avidyne way.
If you implement this GDL90 RS232 OUT option in a future firmware upgrade for any of the ADL devices, please let me know, I will be the first to buy one.
Hopefully coverage for Eastern Europe will be better as well by that time.
