Is Adams Aviation (UK) any good for EU customers?

everyday morning get DPD to sort things

Crap company, though not as completely crap as Yodel

Selective “quiet quitting” related to Brexit?

Indeed. Perhaps more interesting is the obvious lack of direction from the top to put an end to it. They would not dare do it to American imports; there would be an interesting conversation in the US embassy

My experience with Sandelving DE (Aircraft Spruce Europe) is that it is inevitably cheaper to order directly from Aircraft Spruce in the US

Sandelving marked stuff up by another ~20% over the direct $-€ exchange rate price, betting on Germans etc paying extra for simplicity / cultural preference, which probably works for small orders. Surprisingly, it appears that probably AS US did not offer them a reseller discount. But actually AS US costs quite a bit more than specialist places in the US. I haven’t bought from them for years.

That code is for “non-powered aircraft” other than “Balloons and dirigibles; gliders and hang gliders”. (Source: EU regulation 2658/87 with revisions.)

That’s funny

It seems to work though, so far… I found it on some tariff site on google.
