That’s my view as well – I did have one case where I saw brake fluid on a tire that was not there previously, and had to scrub.

Yes – it is a press-fit into the top of the gas shock

If you regard a bird making a nest under the cowling or in whatever hole or an insect making a home in your static port being ‘vandalism’ then you’re right I guess
