What’s the difference between the Hangar Talk and Flying parts of the forum, really? (Or what is it supposed to be?) The topics seem much the same to me.
I think it’s supposed to be a case of Flying is about anything to do with flying, and Hanger Talk is allowed to be off the topic of Aviation.

Flying should be about flying. Hangar Talk is anything which you might discuss in the hangar 
Well, not quite “anything” but you know what I mean: Guidelines.
But there will be a lot of overlap and I don’t think anyone is too bothered.
Curiously there are some regulars who visit only the Flying section, as if they had never discovered any of the other sections
