Avionics and panel face lift complete - At Last!

Two months later and after many tears and tantrums, she’s back with a shiny new panel and avionics – I am well excited :)

Looks very neat (although personally, I would like the GTN750 a bit further to the left).
RGV?
What autopilot does she have?

Mainz (EDFZ) & Egelsbach (EDFE), Germany

ASG Guernsey carried out the work, bit stuck on position of the GTNs due to the transponder and the engine instruments, but having now flown a few hours with this setup I am finding it very usable…

The Autopilot is a KFC200 interfaced via the GAD43e and I have the Avidyne/Ryan TCAS connected to the Garmins.

Very nice and practical. Should give many years of enjoyment

But where is the ADF that you’ll be sung for your EASA IR training/exam?

Right below the DME, and displayed as CDI2 on the EHSI in the PFD

Very good.

I hope Garmin are paying you a commission

I’m paying THEM tons of cash unfortunately :(

But I am very pleased with the result, looking forward to getting some serious flying in this year…

It did give me the opportunity to completely redesign the panel as some things were in awkward places , like the ADF/DME were way over on the P2 side so very hard to see and the reallocated engine gauges from their normal vertical stack to the two horizontal rows was a master stroke, thanks to James at ASG for this idea…
