Pibot - robot pilot

We discussed autopilots recently, including the Portapilot.

Here comes a robot pilot, no modification of the aircraft required:

(Well, for 65 kilos, I’d prefer a nice and pretty copilot ;) paying her a PPL will certainly be less expensive too!)

I thought this post referred to the much lighter device on another forum. This is not an autopilot but an automaton experience.

What on Earth is that for? Just put the cameras on a stalk and connect the processor to the autopilot and avionics!

Using a dozen servos where two would do…

Practical devices replacing human labour look nothing like a human, their design is driven by their purpose. A digger is not shaped like a human with a shovel. A steam engine does not look like a donkey.

And combustion engine cars don’t make clip-clop noises, and electric cars don’t make engind noises – Oh, wait…

Demonstration of ability in robotics that impresses the mind of the “public at large”.

Yes; this is a joke. The detailed claims are way beyond what is technically possible today.
