They seem to have a lot of fun there at JFK. I’m so happy to have been amongst these people in the air last week without screwing up everything :-)
I believe you do loose a lot of unfounded fear about talking to ATC once you’ve talked to Kennedy Departure/Approach. I believe it helped me to leave a good impression with the examiner during my checkride.
