I hate the spray cans, always a mess to fiddle with them.

In North America, Prist is pretty much a genericised trademark. Everybody calls it Prist, like everybody calls a vacuum cleaner a Hoover, or a paper tissue a Kleenex, or doing an Internet search “googling”. I really wouldn’t feel bound by the precise brand.

Aero-Sense ICE 5 and Avlabs Dice F190 are both available in one-litre bottles (and Dice also in 5 usgallon pail), so I could definitely try this. Thanks for the idea.
MIL AL41 = Prist. And it’s available in 1L bottles, and cheaper than the others.

Unfortunately, Prist is not a generic name for this, it is a trademarked one. So (until they clarify/revise the supplement) they only allow Prist Hi-flash as it says in the current revision. I’m not even convinced there is an actual need for an icing inhibitor (see comments above about why it’s thought they added the limitation), but Diamond has chosen to put “Prist Hi-flash” in the limitation rather than “glycol ether DM-based fuel system icing inhibitor” so one would be violating the limitation if you used any of the alternatives suggested above.

Don’t wait for them to do that on their own because they will never do it. Push them to make a revision, send email to them every day until it’s done.

I’ve now basically switched to that technique for the fuel tanks with horizontal opening. It works great, and allows one to “see” the dosing. The first times, I severely underdosed, it has to more than “drip”, I have to make it a constant stream. However, for the one fuel tank with vertical opening, I still use a spray can.
