Please, let it not be Dave Phillips of this parish.
Lets hope not. Any accident is shocking, but when it involves professional pilots of this calibre operating doubtlessly well maintained and “new” twin it is even more sobbering.
By the way it is the newer 62, not the 42.

Omg hoping he is fine
…not to mention Andy Reohorn…
My heart is in my mouth…
RIP and my condolences to those that were close to them. Still as always we have to be cautious as to the ID until confirmed.
Government of Dubai Media Office: The small plane, a diamond 43 owned by Honeywell, had four passengers on board, when it crashed due to a technical malfunction.
A lot of inaccurate data in this release. I wonder if they are referring to a fault on the aircraft or the ground equipment they were calibrating.
I saw news some 30 min ago and posted on another forum:

So so sad…
Andy R is accounted for, apparently.
It is probably appropriate not to speculate any more and await news.
“The small UK-registered plane, owned by Honeywell,”
That doesn’t make much sense. FCL planes were not owned by Honeywell, surely?
The stuff about Honeywell is nonsense. This one was based at Shoreham and yes a good friend died in that.
Very strange too since it didn’t happen anywhere near the runway.
