Few days ago (February 28th 2023) DA62 crashed after EFATO in Brazil.
Was this a training flight?
I looked at the Brazilian news publications, which only mention the crash, no info on stage of flight or any mention of EFATO. Sadly the lady on the right seat, the sister of the pilot, and herself a pilot according to reports, died of her wounds later in hospital. The brother has been discharged from the hospital.
The woman was trapped in the wreck, must have been a very hard impact. Praying for her soul and her family.

Relatos não confirmados apontam que a aeronave estava se aproximando do Aeroporto de Goiânia e teria sofrido uma falha de motor, mas não chegou a informar isto ao controle de tráfego aéreo.
Unconfirmed reports point out that the aircraft was approaching Goiânia Airport and suffered an engine failure, but he did not report this to air traffic control.
So maybe it wasn’t EFATO but I read that at DAI forum written by a Brazilian pilot.
Was this a training flight?
Most probably not.
