That is one of the reasons why Hugo Junkers always rejected the term “inventor” as an insult to every engineer and scientist. It takes more than some aircraft-shaped sheet metal to make an aircraft.

It’s not so difficult to fool the media and public and present yourself as a genius inventor. Assemble something that looks like an airplane and complain about bureaucracy and then immediately build a factory for a 19 seat commuter plane as the next step?

Pity he keeps getting thwarted by bureaucracy.

The logistical part of the project would have been much easier if he had built a helicopter instead
