I believe that the huge tails on the URLs, like this
contain various preferences of the person who originally posted it. So if the person likes watching, ahem, certain kinds of videos on FB, you will get similar kinds of videos presented in your FB feed and you may wonder why
I do not use twatter, tictoc, etc, and they probably do the same.
Often, though not always, anything after the ? can be removed without affecting the link and the link becomes more reliable (especially if some of the stuff after the ? contains a time stamp for the request).
Indeed; and I remove those tails when I can.
Back to FB, it does route adverts according to your Friends preferences, and it must be using data in those tails
