Hi all, does the “Hide” button still work for the treads? Doesn’t for me – when I press it, the thread is hidden, but then next time there is a new post it shows up again in recent posts (https://www.euroga.org/forums/recent-threads?nostickies=1).
I don’t think anything has changed in recent years. It has come up before and there may be solutions there.

Peter, sorry, your search is about sticky threads, my query is about any threads, I cannot hide any thread.

I suspect that is intended.
It’s a bit like hiding posts from a particular poster. We had requests for that when we started in 2012, in connection with a particular well known chap, from a number of his countrymen. It was discussed and we decided to not do it for a number of reasons.
Features like these could be configurable (obviously, for logged-in users only) but it costs a lot of money to do them.
