The weather that day was as dull as it gets. If it were summer sun shiny clear skies he would have got a much better result. He was unlucky on this !
A promo video released a couple of days ago for AirBP in Syros LGSO.
Beautiful!
Another Greek pilot posted the same video at the same time, in a new thread
LGSO needs to become a port of entry and that will transform things for Greece.

Definitely. For me it’s easy one-leg flight (4:30) and it’s ideal destination for extended weekend.
And for me the technical stop I need if winds are against me
Is it not a port of entry? I was planning a late August arrival, and on to Paros. We will be there 2 weeks from Aug 28 (Piso Livadi) if any care to join.
The currently recommended “minimum ripoff generally and not maximum-ripoff-fraported, and not more-ripoff-slot-controlled” port of entry with avgas is Ionina LGIO.
@Peter
Considering we’ll be coming from Brac (LDSB), that works fine!
With great regret I unfortunately have to inform you that AirBP in Greece increased the price of AVGAS in Syros LGSO only to 5,5 Euro/Lt.
Is it the most expensive AVGAS in Europe now ? In the world maybe ?
JET A1 price in Syros is at 2,08 Euro/Lt.
At all other Greek airports AirBP supplies AVGAS at 3 Euro/Lt (with minor +/- variations).
The news just reached me so I have no more information on this.
