Brilliant.
Very friendly and helpful OPS staff who facilitated my paperwork with Customs. e-mailed a GAR form found on the Pembrokeshire Police site, and filled in the fields with Goodreader on my iPad. Supposedly 24 hours PN required, but if you have less than 24 hours… there’s no harm in asking. As I say, the airport is very helpful.
Fuel sold VAT free (although I was flying on to the Channel Islands, and therefore outside the EU). I was told I could also apply to have the Duty refunded, but I haven’t gotten around to that yet, as I assume that will require a Euro Bank account.
On arrival, no customs to meet us. Walk into arrival hall and use the free phone to call a taxi. Euro20 into town, and a decent hotel for Euro60 for the night.
Paid my landing and parking fee (approx Euro 20) along with the VAT free fuel (Euro 2 / litre) the afternoon of departure.
A really excellent airport to visit. The Guinness in town was great. We’ll be going back again soon.
