I am happy to see most fields around here keep up the fly-in tradition, though they take a lot of work to organise – and if the weather won’t help, most of the work was for nothing. Some of these events are mainly aimed at the locals so not all websites have an English version.
Here is a little list for my nearest airfields:
EBUL Ursel 27-28 June http://www.ebul.be/nieuws.html announcing a DC3, and the brand new NH90 SAR helo
EBZW Zwartberg 4-5 July http://www.ebzw.be/flyin2015.html
EBFN Koksijde 4-5 July http://flyinkoksijde.be/en
EBKH Keiheuvel 25-26 July http://www.motorvliegen.be/flyin
EBDT Schaffen 15-16 August http://flyin.dac.be/
EBZR Zoersel 22-23 August http://www.ebzr.be/FlyIn/Bezoekersinfo.aspx they even announce a DH Dove as a visitor!
EBZH Kiewit 29-30 August
I hope to visit most of these. If you come too, look out for my OO-G86!
Here’s one for anyone looking for a fly-in in the South East UK this Sunday, 14 June 2015:
http://www.pilotshub.co.uk/redhillavfest/event.php
This is the first event of its kind at Redhill, so it would be great if any forum members are able to support it. Please don’t be put off by Redhill’s proximity to Gatwick, or the general procedures to follow. It really is straightforward and the maps on the redhillaerodrome.com website detail all of the VRPs and circuit procedures.
I should be there. Will drive – just up the road from where I live so no point in flying
Hi Peter, that’s great! I’m helping out all day, so see you there! :-)
