Probably me being a bit slow… but…
Planning a trip to Toussus le Noble in 2 weeks and looking at the plates they have ‘no movement’ periods on Sundays and holidays, these are quoted as 1100 – 1400 which I assume are local times, however it states …Silence periods, from 01 APR to 30 SEP, SUN and HOL
from 1100 to 1400 (SUM – 1 HR) :
So the SUM -1 HOUR bit, does this mean 1000 – 1300 in the summer time period, which doesn’t seem to make much sense or have I completely got the wrong end of the stick??
All times always UTC unless explicitly mentioned.
The quiet periods are 1100 – 1400 UTC in winter and 1000-1300 UTC in summer. That’s almost a Spanish lunch break
Ah….
That makes more sense, so local time 1200 -1500 all year
Just trying to co-ordinate my car rental pickup with their Sunday opening times…
Thanks!

The quiet period is in effect only in the spring/summer, or more precisely between April 1st and Sept 30th. I suppose it allows the neighbours to enjoy their barbecue without the distant sound of reciprocating engines equipped with hush kits.
