Don’t know if you are aware of this homepage. They have a vast number of pireps, albeit in German only.

The layout of the airport is simple. Access to the runway is via only one taxiway located close to the threshold of RWY23, so it means backtrack, either after landing or before takeoff. But traffic levels are usually such that this isn’t much of a problem. There are turning bays at both runway ends.
Fairly often, there’s nobody there, so you pay the landing tax in cash using envelopes provided and a mailbox.
When departing on RWY23, be sure to turn left just after the end of the runway, according to the arrows in the VAC chart, otherwise terrain clearance could get very tight.
Also, there’s public transportation by rail right next to the airpot that will take you straight to Neuchatel center. The stop name is “Les chézards”.
